Yesterday morning, MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart shared these thoughts from Dr. King on conscience:

"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'"

Over the past four years, we have paid the price for cowardice, expediency and vanity.

As we celebrate Dr. King's legacy and pull back the curtain on a new tomorrow, I hope we all have the conscience to do the right thing.

@TonyStark Martin Luther King was a great man who's life was cut to soon.
