@TonyStark
Totally on brand for Republicans and totally disgusting.

@AuntieViolet
Of course the base doesn't. But some lapsed, swing, and independent voters do. That's why we put the info out there.
@Sunspot

@SnerkRabbledauber
Seriously, that is pretty much it.

A connected view is that Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Trump, were "installed by god."

Of course, funny, they never said that about Carter, LBJ, Clinton, Obama etc, and now Biden. They only think "god put him there" when it is one of their guys, like magic.

@TonyStark

Magic or Madness?

"A god complex is an unshakable belief characterized by consistently inflated feelings of personal ability, privilege, or infallibility. A person with a god complex may refuse to admit the possibility of their error or failure, even in the face of irrefutable evidence, intractable problems or difficult or impossible tasks. The person is also highly dogmatic in their views, meaning the @SnerkRabbledauber - 1/2

person speaks of their personal opinions as though they were unquestionably correct. Someone with a god complex may exhibit no regard for the conventions and demands of society, and may request special consideration or privileges."

@SnerkRabbledauber
"There are two different kinds of people in the world: those who want to know and those who want to believe."
Nietzsche

I would add: There is a Third Kind of people who want both knowledge and faith. Everything in its own time. It becomes difficult when faith/knowledge, is confused with rigid conviction.

I am sorry about your father.

@SnerkRabbledauber @TonyStark I'd argue that the GOP doesn't have any principles except power. Power in and of itself. The Christian trappings are just that trappings. Power and how to get it and keep it is now their one and only god.

@TonyStark
What's the point of having Republicans even in office at this point?

Solving a single problem is beyond their interest and capabilities.

@SteveRogers @TonyStark Operative word "capabilities" Nor do they desire to Develop any.

@TonyStark
If the Dems put forth a viable solution to end world hunger, the GOP would object. Guaranteed.

@TonyStark
They couldn't even fake it for a measly $28 million.

@TonyStark you would think this and what happened today would be a death sentence for this insane party. And yet.
